It would be a really nice feature if ocf had rss feeds. I mean feeds that generate topics.
Its a nice way to have news topics posted on your site.

A few ways it can be done is by creating a topic for each rss entry or a better way that I would like to see if its the same type of things like some feeds of daily briefs if that all went to one topic. Or I guess having the choice between the 2 would be pretty cool.

I hop others like the idea too as it would be really handy.

I know ocportal it self has an RSS block which is nice too but having this feature would be a step better.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

IPB does have this ability how ever it has an issue with one feed that I would love to be able to have create topics.
The feed that ipb does not work with is DistroWatch.com: Put the fun back into computing. Use Linux, BSD. so if you added it and it worked with the rss on that site, yours would be far better then thiers ;) and it would be awesome to see. :)

Here is the admin side of the IPB version.

Here is what the rss forum looks like, although you could use any forum.
