Hi,

Having selected the type of forum that I want to import, I've been led to a text box reading, "Create a new session or delete an old session".

What do I enter in this, to create a session?

Thanks. :)

Hitting "Proceed" for the Nth time finally worked– I suspect this must have been a server load issue…

It should be a list not a text box, and I don't think you have any choice but to click the button (because the only item in the list is the item to create a new session), which is what you should do. This will create a new import session.

As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
