Using the "Search underneath" tree on the "Search – Posts" page, the screen will jump to the top of the page when you select an item. Most irritating.

I think this is a new issue to v6.1.1, but I'm not 100% sure. Too distracted with the other tree issues I reported.

Can't reproduce, on Chrome anyway. We changed the JAVASCRIPT_TREE_LIST.tpl file extensively to no longer use links (now uses labels against hidden radio buttons, for accessibility) and I know you mentioned you'd made custom changes in it. Sounds like a classic issue of clicking a link with a blank href.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

I need to change JAVASCRIPT_TREE_LIST.tpl (to change hard coded colours), but have not done so yet as  I new changes to this .tpl were forthcoming.

Reproduced on Firefox. Fix attached.

It was scrolling to the radio when it's label was clicked - which unfortunately we had hidden for accessibility off the top left.
