The sharing function seems to work differently on an OCP site versus the majority of others and was curious if this can be changed. The first picture is representative of sharing OCP content and the second other sites:

The double upload bug was fixed for me (Firefox v3.6.8), so you might just need to flush your browser cache.

Do you have a Samsung Galaxy S / Galaxy S II ? If so, why not check out my ScreenFree FM Radio .

Is this as clicked from Facebook's end? Our default theme (HEADER.tpl to be specific) does support Facebook's Open Graph Protocol which should define the thumbnail available. I checked your site (one of the news articles) and that seems to be included in the HTML, but that article had no attachments so the image was just the site logo.
Facebook does say "An image URL which should represent your object within the graph. The image must be at least 50px by 50px and have a maximum aspect ratio of 3:1. We support PNG, JPEG and GIF formats. ", so it probably detects the site logo does not meet that criteria and doesn't use it.

Hey Chris! As usual I should have been more clear. An image is kewl and I'll explore that further, however, it was the short text blurb that I was more interested in.

Having said that, I've got it figured out and no doubt missed it in the documentation somewhere. In order to get text the concise description field needs to be populated.

Thanks for the info on the image requirements!

P.S. Would you happen to know off the top of your head Chris what that concise description field is referred to in tempcode lingo? I'm wondering if I can use it to show a description for a video gallery instead of the full description field….

The meta-data is set in PHP and pulled out in HEADER.tpl using the {$META_DATA,...} symbol. The PHP is in e.g. site/pages/modules/galleries.php like this:

Code

      $GLOBALS['META_DATA']+=array(
         'created'=>date('Y-m-d',$myrow['add_date']),
         'creator'=>$GLOBALS['FORUM_DRIVER']->get_username($myrow['submitter']),
         'publisher'=>'', // blank means same as creator
         'modified'=>is_null($myrow['edit_date'])?'':date('Y-m-d',$myrow['edit_date']),
         'type'=>'Image',
         'title'=>'',
         'identifier'=>'_SEARCH:galleries:image:'.strval($id),
         'description'=>get_translated_text($myrow['comments']),
         'image'=>$url,
      );

You could use Tempcode shift-encoding to put anything available in one of the templates on the page in as the Open Graph data, although it would be a bit complex and I'm not 100% sure the data you need is necessarily available in the templates of the screen you're talking about.
