I'm trying to use the geolocate_ip() function to identify the country my users are from.

Using my own IP of 114.x.x.x as a test returns no country code.

The 106,000 entries in the ocpo_ip_country table only seems to cover 32.107.227.56 - 62.23.118.231 (longs 33996344 - 1041725159).

I'm using the v6.0.2 stats addon. Is there an update available for this?

Silly bug in the geostat install code. Please clear out the table, install attached fix, then reimport the geolocate data. I've confirmed it works on your IP now.

Do I "reimport the geolocate data" by uninstalling and reinstalling the module?

No, clear out the table you've been looking at and the icon for it will reappear.

I've emptied the ocpo_ip_country table (with phpMyAdmin).

On the Module management screen I see this:

The install option did not appear.

Or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place?

Admin Zone > Audit > Site statistics.

That's where you got to it originally from ;).

Ah yes, silly me.

It was a while since I installed it, and I forgot that it was installed from there and not from the addon screen.

All, good now. Thanks Chris    .
