How does one delete images and Galleries?

I am enjoying my exploration of OCPortal but I have come to a wall I haven't been able to climb over.

I have created a subgallery and added a few images to it to experiment with the flexibility of OCP's gallery structure and to see what are my reasonable limits in the programs use. So my problem is, I need to know how to remove images from the created gallery and also how to remove the created gallery. I have looked for some post or info on this in the documentation but it has escaped my search.

Does anyone know the process for this?

In ocPortal the convention to delete something is to go through the edit screen. When you view the gallery you should see an edit gallery link there too. Click that, and you'll see a delete option is presented on this form.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
