Hi,

The display for this screen is optimised for when there is only one panel. I'd advise changing the image (hold down ctrl+alt+shift and click it, to open up the theme image editor). You'll also need to change the button's position by changing this line:

Code

   left: 600px
in the ecommerce CSS file.

Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

If I remember correctly that can be done for each zone any way.
I only pretty much use one zone so I would have to look to be sure.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

Yes, you can. But it is a rather complicated bit of Tempcoding that the staff had to help out with, over a period of several days.

I'm willing to try and explain how and what I use, (you can see how it works on my site under 'PhotoEssays'), but it might take several exchanges before you're 'happy' with the changes.

PT me if you want to go ahead.

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

I appreciate the offer to help but if its not an easy fix then I wont mess with it now.  I am still deciding how I want it to look and if I skimp a few features can remove the right column without issue
