installed 3.1.2 - clean

Just installed 3.1.2 and am setting it up.
When I go to Adminzone-> Security -> Global Specific permissions Then When I select any item in the drop down (Banner, calendar, etc.) and click proceed, I get the following error:

ocPortal said

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: foxy_utf8_to_nce() in /public_html/adminzone/pages/modules/admin_permissions.php on line 36
Is this a bug? Or is there a problem with the install?

one more question

Once a subscription is added. How does a member purchase it? If I login as "test" and goto the personal zone, and click the subscriptions link it says there are none. Although 2 have been added.

The error in your first two posts is now fixed:
ocPortal - Entry: Permission setting error

For the memory error, what were you adding to the Point-Store?

You need to add a link to site:purchase to your menu, or somewhere else depending on how you choose to design things.

For this error I added the ability to bypass the flood control. It added the item, however it did not confirm that it had been added. It just gave the error in my previous post. Now when ever I go to Adminzone -> Setup then click pointstore I get this error.

A friend of mine on a slightly different version (3.1.0 I think) added a custom item to the pointstore and got a memory error also. He now gets a similar error when going to Adminzone -> Setup -> Pointstore. Unfortunately, I do not know his exact error messages.

Thanks for the quick response. Everything else in your post worked perfectly. I didn't expect these to be corrected so quickly.

I'm very surprised this action is using so much memory. Keep tuned to see if we are able to make any improvements to ocPortal's memory usage, as this is something we are currently working on.

Has there been any progress with this? I tried using the Tempcode source-module from the last version release, with no luck in fixing the pointstore error.

Also, with the Tempcode source-module installed I get an error when new members join. Is this a bug in the Tempcode source-module? After clicking join the user is presented with the 'rules' page upon agreeing and clicking porceed there is a an error. Sorry I don't have the stack trace. Deleted the Tempcode source-module, and all was fine.

This was indeed the optimisation. However I've just looked over the code for the point store administration and this time it's obvious to me what's happening.
Attached is a new sources\hooks\modules\pointstore\permission.php file that should fix it:

If someone brings the stack trace to us, we'll look into it further.

Actually, I tried the Tempcode module too. There is no stack trace when someone joins, the screen just goes blank after the rules screen and it does not continue. No errors are given.

I've had a go with this and I did get an error. But this was because the Comcode Page cache hadn't been emptied (the rules page was cached, but in the wrong Tempcode format) – I emptied the cache and it worked.
