I don't know if this was the cause but I had a message from my site saying someone tried to upload spam via the recommend this topic form about 2 days ago, I went to deny Guest access to the form via site tree permissions and all I have is a blank space where the tree should be.
Since then I can't submit any changes via admin or even submit a forum topic, nothing works, my admin drop down menus aren't working, and I am not sure what else at this stage.
I am getting some error messages

Code

ocPortal
PHP WARNING [2] Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in sources/database.php on line 880 (version: 7.1.5, PHP version: 5.2.17, URL: /pg/banners/misc)
and

Code

PHP Warning
Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in sources/database.php on line 880
I don't know how to proceed from here, I have plenty of disk and quota space as per forum topic, I have repaired and optimised database, I have tried this on 2 different computers and 4 different browsers, all the same. Could this be a Hosting issue?
Would anyone be willing to advise please?
Thank you

How exactly aren't they working?

I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.

Hi Chris,
In forums if you click the "add topic" or "new post" buttons they move as if to submit but nothing happens.
For an example in Admin if I want to change a setting in configuration I click the "save button" at the bottom and same thing, button moves but doesn't actually do anything.
Hope that clarifies?

EDIT: Drop down menus no longer work on mouseover

Is there a link I can try?

Looks like a Javascript problem to me.

Hi Chris,
I tried to make a new account for you but of course that won't work either, I suspected a javascript issue as well that's why I thought maybe a hosting issue, don't know if any hosts run programs to kill javascript?
Anyway I sent you a private message with my web site, my log in and password, I appreciate the help

Well-settled

I have been getting this error emailed to me for ages but just ignored it. What exactly did you change to fix it? I was hoping to stop those emails lol

That error he posted was actually unrelated. I think it was a bug in a very minor feature of the banners module that bots would trigger when crawling the site from the sitemap.

I am not sure if you mean the emails about someone trying to upload spam? If so, what I have just done is go to Admin/Security/Permissions Tree editor, look down the tree until you see Module: Recommend which is under the Zone: Welcome heading, then click Module:Recommend and underneath you will see how to remove the tick that allows guests to access this feature, then click "set" underneath.
Hope that works for you  ;)
