*sighs*

My site was working last night before I went to sleep, now I can barely click on an AdminZone link without getting an Internal Server error. I looked in my servers Error Log, and I'm getting this error:

Code

[Tue Aug  7 02:32:50 2007] [error] [client 72.230.46.122] Premature end of script headers: /home/<hidden>/public_html/<hidden>/adminzone/index.php

"A common cause of this for script writers is to fail to set a content type before printing output code."

Where do I set a content type?

As of right now, it's not doing it. I can click on AdminZone links. What could this be caused by?

This could be caused by a number of things, such as PHP crashing, or being overloaded somehow.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

It's weird how I only get this error when visiting the AdminZone. It never occurs when visiting the welcome or site zones. Anyhow, I've contacted my webhost…hopefully they'll have an idea of what's going on, or else I guess my search for a new host will once again begin.

Apparently ocPortal takes up a lot of memory. Time to look for a new host. :(
