On the front page I have the Point leader-board installed. on the first week it showed the leaders and I think that was all. on the second week it showed the leaders but I noticed a More button so I pushed it. It showed last weeks leaders as well is this, the problem is that last weeks block shows
Week 1,987

and this weeks block shows
Week 1,987

Does anyone know how to fix this. I assume that there is an entry somewhere in the data base indicating the date that the site was installed and it is wrong or corrupt.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,

You've discovered a bug.

Please change line 65 of site/pages/modules/leader_board.php from:

Code

        $first_week=$weeks[count($weeks)-1]['date_and_time'];
to just:

Code

        $first_week=$weeks[count($weeks)-1];

Chris,

Thanks for your timely reply, there is just one problem. I checked and that file does not exist in that directory on my site. I installed the portal with the quick install directly on the server so I don't have the file and directory structure on my computer. So I am downloading the entire site onto my computer so that I can search for things more easily. Will reply when I find the file. Thank again!!!

I did find a main_leader_board.php under the sources/blocks but did not find the line that you reference above

Hi,

I've treble-checked the file path. I'm not sure what could be going on, as if the leader_board.php didn't exist somewhere, the page 'leader_board' couldn't show.

 Well I have triple checked as well, I checked the site and did not find it, so I have downloaded the site again just to make sure by searching it from my desk top. When that did not give the results I expected I went to your site and downloaded the manual install so that I could extract the files and find the one in question. I extracted it and I still did not find the file in question in the directory that you indicated.

Could someone just verify that I am not going crazy, Download the manual install, extract it, then check for the file in question. I am going round and round and feel like I am going Bonkers!!!

Hi Rick

The file Chris had wrote earlier is in the right place here….

Look into the map:

Code

/site/pages/modules/

I've just checked again on the last manual release. Went into 'site', then 'pages', then 'modules', and 'leader_board.php' was in there.

It could be on a different place on your server if the module was moved to a different zone, but that's the only explanation I can think of. The file name would still have to be 'leader_board.php' or it wouldn't run.

Chris & Harry,

I feel so stupid!!! I was recently given another answer with the path described as site/pages/modules/xxxxx.php Well when I went to look for that one I could not find it as either. The problem was that quite often with another developer I would be told something like find the file at

www.mysite.com/pages/modules etc. etc.

Well when you gave me the path site/pages/modules/leader_board.php I thought the site was meant as the domain. The other thing that confused the issue is that there is a pages/modules directory in both the root/pages/modules and root/site/pages/modules So I was looking in pages/modules and not finding the file and thought I was going crazy. Now that I have found my error, got over my embarrassment, and made the fix, it works great. Sorry for wasting so much time.
