PHP note 8 afther hitting 'Admin Zone', locking me out now

Hi,

Error: PHP NOTICE [8] Undefined offset: 0 (on my site). (9:50 7-Febr-2011)

The error message is blocking working on my site because any time I go to the Admin zone I get this
message. I'm configurating afther a clean installing 5.0.3 and importing SMF dbase stuff and did set up with the preset figures but this is just one PHP note blocking further work. I can't reach adminzone>setup anymore so not able to test the translation on errors.

Server: Apache - Linux - PHP mem 128 - no limits reached.
Computer: Windows 7 Prof - mem 4Gb - no problems

Hi,

If you go to /adminzone/index.php?page=admin_config, then the feature options, then set a different support tickets forum, does that fix it?

Regards,
Chris

Hi, thanks for the responce.

I tryed several times with different settings but it stay the same.

At the start I get (see attachment) some validation errors. I think it has something to do with validation.?

I just saved the standard given things in the config as I have had this before and learned that the list of errors was to long to cope for me. When this does not workout I reinstall 5.0.3 and blank every option that could give error- or note lines when logging in as admin.

Greetings Puran.

Hi,

I solved the problem, t.i. not the technical error but the cause. The error is from the: "Use sub-forums for members' tickets" what was hit somehow and set checked. When I put that one unchecked the error report was gone. Ok I can go on working now, but the problem still exist for those that will use that option.
So should I put 'resolved' on top or not?

Greetings Puran.

Right, so you solved this one yourself :). This ticket forum issue is something that has come up before, but I can't find the fix. It's an obscure enough option that very few people will turn it on though. To be honest it's annoying enough that I should have put it into the bugs database.

We don't recommend turning those validation options on (they were designed for us the developers really). For v6 we have fixed lots of little template errors, and for our internal testing we now use a different method for identifying these kinds of problems.
