Well-settled

Hi there,

I know it's a lot of new questions for one morning, but some things just have to be fixed.

I found that the main page title and breadcrumbs cannot overlap. I'd like to have them appearing as two seperate lines, one aligned to the left, one to the right, but with long page titles reaching underneath those breadcrumbs. I managed to lower the page title a bit by adding a top border to it, but that doesn't of course lower the whole page title "frame".

Is there any simple way around this?

Have a nice one,
Low

Isn't that what happens by default? At least it seems to here… I just used Firebug to add a load of junk to the page title, and it did indeed wrap under the breadcrumbs. I.e. the breadcrumbs cut out a rectangular chunk from the title's space.

Chris,

I made a screenshot to illustrate:

I'd like the page name to extend to the very right margin (and be wrapped there if it should be THAT long). Somehow the frame marked with Firebug here gets jammed where the breadcrumbs start.

(We could take this one step further and align the breadcrumbs to the left, starting right above the page title, but maybe that wouldn't look too good)

Regards,

If the title is not floated and the breadcrumbs are floated right, then it should wrap around (that's the default). Although if the breadcrumbs have any padding/margin/border beneath that could be stopping it. If you think it's an issue with theme upgrade please could you mention it in the ticket you have open.

Chris,

with version 4.3.2 the issue looked different in FF and IE, in IE it looked like so:

AttachmentScreenshot IE displaying from OCP 4.3.2

Download: example2_breadcrumbs.jpg (46 Kb, 0 downloads so far)

(Switched back to the default theme, same thing. The breadcrumbs have only a top margin of 5px, which I think is default.)

Now in 5.x both browsers render like shown in first screenshot I posted this morning. Same thing on this very page, BTW:

I do not think the issue is upgrade related. Frankly, I'm not sure it's an issue at all. It just behaves differently.
