I have tried several times now to load 4.1.9 and in the very last step of the 10 configuration steps I get the following error.

One of these with the name 'logo/-logo' already exists

It gives the go back arrow but no matter what I do it gives the same error. If I ignore the error and just click on the site link it brings up the site but it has ignored just about everything that I selected in the configuration setup. I am using the quick 2 file setup system so I am assuming that all of the security settings are ok since I did not get any other errors during the file extraction part of the process.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When did you download the quick installer? Was it recently, or in the around March 15-17th?

Chris,

I thought it was recently but I have been doing quite a bit on both my computer and several of my websites so I may be wrong. I will try downloading a new copy, try it again and let you know how it goes.

Okay :). When we first released this version there was a big bug - this one - so we re-released with just this bug fixed. So either we made a mess of that and it's still there, or you downloaded at an unfortunate time.

Hey Chris,

I got through the install without the error and it saved all of my settings that I set in the previous 9 or 10 steps so I am very happy but…

When I go to the Logo Wizard and make changes and hit proceed I go to Step 2 which is the preview and that looks great. Then I hit proceed again which takes you to Step 3 and I get the same error as described in the first post in this thread.

Well-settled

Hi,

I'm getting exactly this error when I use the logo wizard. I installed ocPortal on Elief using the instructions on your site. What do I do with that file you attached?

I am completely unable to change the logo, or delete uploaded files I no longer need.

Thanks!

If I ctrl-alt-shift click on the logo to change it I get:

An error has occurred
The requested resource does not exist.

And I now have about 5 files in the Manage Theme images list which I have uploaded or created with the logo wizard to try and replace the logo, and can't delete, even though it says action succesful!

And if I click on -logo in the Manage Theme images list, there's a picture of the logo I want, so it has uploaded okay - it's just not displaying.

Is this me?  Is there a cache I need to clear?

Hi,

We'll make this easier in the next patch release. The current one will keep re-adding files.

However I think you're likely editing the wrong one. Choose 'logo/-logo' to edit (not '-logo').
