One username and one password for multiple members ocportal

Hey. I wonder if it is possible to have one username and one password for multiple members to login. Thus, for example, if I want 50 members have a common username and password to log in with? is this possible in ocportal, and if so, how?

with kind regards

There's a config option you can enable that will ask for a name rather than a username, then automatically add a suffix to make it unique.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

"Sign-up with full-name" option :).

Doing an Admin Zone search for 'signup_fullname' should find it too.

Chris, I'm completely blind O_o. I have searched in the admin as you write, but I can not find this anywhere. Is it in the Admin / Setup / Config, and in one of the submenus?
