Display Board Link?

Hey all,

On my ocPortal, there is a link in the header named "forum" which directs members to the /forum/ directory within ocPortal, however, I have IPB 2.2 installed and my forums are located in a directory named forums. Is there a way to edit that link so that it's pointing to the correct directory? Thanks. :)

I had it do that once which was how at one time I got confused when I upgraded to a new version of ocportal and it was gone and I had mentioned it was there at one time.
It was actually how I got into the whole external zone thing to begin with.
but to get rid of it you can delete the zone called forum and it will go away.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

Did you go into the admin zone then Structure then click on zones then edit zones then in the drop down menu select forum at the bottom is a delete or should be if not I will wait for Chris to reply with a better solution.

Ami is correct. ocPortal comes with a 'forum' zone, which is what is causing this and what you should delete. The zone should have initially been non-installed, but if a member of staff calls it up manually by URL then it auto-installs.

For reference, it's worth noting the quick installer will never overwrite the forum/index.php file on a server if it already exists.

Ah shoot. I called the /personalzone/ directory to see what it would do, and it auto-installed. :/ I'm trying to delete the zone, but there is no delete option. How do I delete the zone?

Nevermind. I removed the personalzone row from the ocp_zones table - this seems to work.

Ok, that's a bug. From 3.2 the zone edit screen will allow deletion of OCF zones when OCF is not turned on.
