Observation:

The Lightbox add-on is a nice bit of eye-candy, but it limits the display and detail of the 'larger' picture if there is no URL inserted linking to the original-sized upload.

Can this be done (I use 'Thickbox' so I don't know), and if yes, can it be implemented in this forum, please?

Good observation!

I have the same concern for my site. I like the Lightbox effect but a way to get to the full-size image is needed.
