We're always ready to TRY to help. Don't always succeed.

This one will need staff viewing, as some of us (that includes me in the front) are always willing to help, but not necessarily able

Seems like first time user (or logged out user ) still get this error.
Maybe its got to do with cookies or so.
Anyone got an idea ?

The problem is on this site :  www.be-gentle.nl

On the php error i find this code :

Code

$fields_to_show=ocf_get_all_custom_fields_match($GLOBALS['OCF_DRIVER']->get_members_groups($member_id),$public_view,$owner_view,$owner_set,$required,$show_in_posts,$show_in_post_previews,$special_start,$show_on_join_form);

Thanks,
Ricardo

I thought i fixed it by setting guest acount rights and it worked for the front page.

But when user logs out the error comes back.

Confirmed. I did get it when I first landed on your page but could then not recreate until I registered then logged out. What version are you running Ricardo?

Version 7.0

Strange problem right.

I first tought it could be an issue with the guest acount.
But now i really don't know for sure.

I see that there is an upgrade availible maybe i should try that.

thanks superdad for checking my problem.

Are you running a live site with this installation? If not, it may be just as well to do a clean install with the latest version.

This reported URL in your error message looks a bit weird
/home/deb2336/domains/be-gentle.nl/public_html/ocportal/sour
ces/ocf_members.php

This might be causing you a bit of a problem with your cookies. The installer advises where best to lodge your cookies, and you probably overrode the advice …

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

Ricardo, have you flushed the cache after the upgrade?

Yes i think i did as it asked me too on the update page right?

I manage to get in through an old timed out session in my browser.
And i used the website cleanup tools and looks like guest can see the page again if the refresh the home page.
still if users logout they get the error.

Going to try to flush the caches and then try too search if there is a problem with the cookies or so.

Thank all of you for your effort.

Taking a look now. I did see this myself on another site, just once.

Getting there. Only happens when 'points_per_daily_visit' is non-zero, which is not the default. Hence why not everyone is screaming ;).

Ok I know what is happening now. At startup it needs to know if you're a Guest, so it can possibly use the fast-cache and not fully boot ocPortal. But that means finding the current member, which means establishing a session, which can prompt a "first visit of the day", which then tries to use a lot of ocPortal's functionality. I'm going to restructure the code a bit to have a simpler login check at this early stage of the boot process.
