what error message you getting?
Trying having it send your password to your email account.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

You could go into the sql and see what your username is.
Do you know how to get into your sql?

When you installed ocPortal, there would've been a set of options in the installer to set the administrator's username and password.
If you're sure you're trying the correct username and password (as specified in the installer), check that your browser is allowing cookies from where you've installed ocPortal.

Well-settled

Are you able to access the site but not the admin area?

If so, close your browser and try again, then disable "sessions" for the admin section via admin/set-up/config

It also does this on the 'personal zone' which I've also disabled, as to me the personal zone should be a handy shortcut for users, not a new area they have to log into.

Hope that helps
