Me again ;)

Just came across the "add block" wizard.
Nice little thing.

Found a "notes" block in the list, selected it and clicked proceed.
Up comes a little window, asking me to select the param for the block.
Proposed default is admin_notes.

I'm in a cheeky mood today, so I changed "admin_notes" to "general_notes" (hoping the system would create a new block for me).
Looks like it did.
Notes block is on the page, typed a few words in it, clicked edit, and ….

Code

An error has occurred
Cannot write to . File permissions for it have not been set correctly.

Been looking an hour + for a block called general_notes (in the site's folders) or for a way to set permissions for it using the admin zone.
Can't find it.

So…..silly question of the day is:

WHERE is the thing ???

The parameter is actually to control the filename and path of the text file in which the notes are stored. You need to change the permissions on the /text_custom directory. :)

Hmmm

Changed text_custom folder, and everything inside it to 777.
Same thing. (An error has occurred, Cannot write to . File permissions for it have not been set correctly.)

So created a file (general_notes.txt) and uploaded it to text_custom/EN.

It works  :P

Edit.
This made me curious.
Went to admin zone, typed a few words in the notes field. Clicked edit, it worked first time.
Was expecting to have to upload an admin_notes.txt.
Searched the site's folders for an admin_notes.txt file, can't find it.
Where does the notes block in the admin zone write to ??

The Admin Zone uses a different block that stores in the database rather than a file.
