That's odd. Mojo regularly update their integration, but we fixed this bug 2 years ago:
https://github.com/chrisgraham/ocPortal/commit/4e40a147d50ee06cc6a0ceed312d3a07f43ca876

I wonder if maybe bluehost haven't updated mojo. I wonder what version of ocPortal this is.

I suggest you either apply the above change, or open your site before resetting your password.

That said, you can't use the reset password feature on an admin user for security reasons.

Did you actually lose your password, or not know what mojo created one with?
Details of hacking back in are in:
ocPortal.com - ocPortal Tutorial: Disaster recovery

I've never used the mojo installer myself. I imagine it would have asked an admin password when you set it up, but that's just based on knowing what other installers do.

  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
