Moving forward with Composr

version 8 RC3

Greetings,

I posted this here because I am not certain if this is a 8 RC3 bug or something else. However the ocportal version is 8 RC 3, so feel free to move if need be.

Ok, in order to get around the fact that I cannot charge money for downloads yet, I have set up subscription plans that basically allow access to my site's Offical Downloads section where they can download at will Legends of Nor'Ova Core Rule Book and related material, and increased daily points that can be used in the Point Store for their forum RP character.

I set up originally four seperate plans:
A yearly plan
A 6-month plan
A monthly plan
And one that I meant to allow access only for 24 hours (1 day).

Well, I discovered that the 1 day plan would be auto-recuring (which is not what I wanted for that particular plan  for the others its fine), so I promptly deleted it before any member accidentaly buys it. And that is where the problem starts.

I have a member who is a payig subscriber to the yearly plan. After I deleted the daily plan, he got an email saying that his subscription is no longer valid, and of course contacted me about it.

So, I go and look at his accout, I see that he no longer has the membership group but in his subscriptions still has the subscription listed as active. I restore his membership group.

I then su as his account to make sure everything is working well on his end, and I notice in his profile he doesn't havea link to view his subscriptions. Shouldn't there be a link there for him? He however can access the official downloads section thanks to me restoring his membership account.

So, bug? Something I did wrong? Please advise. Thankyou.

I can confirm the subscriptions link isn't showing for them in v8, and should be.

I also can confirm a bug whereby if a member is in two usergroup subscriptions, to the same usergroup, if one subscription is deleted they are incorrectly removed.

So could they have had the daily one as well?

I have possibly found the cause of this, it may be a very special case of a notification getting misdirected. I couldn't reproduce after fixing that.
