I host a site, along with my uncle.  Anytime he clicks on a link in the top/zone menu bar a message from Mcafee's site advisor pops up:

"Warning:Dangerous Site - We tested this site and found it's risky to visit"

I told him the problem is that he's using mcafees to begin with, and its a false possitive.  He's conviced that I'm wrong and afraid that if he's getting the message that other visitor's to the site will to.  Anyone have an idea how I can bypass this crazy error, short of going to to his house and using a hammer on his machine that is?  I've been dealing wth him about this all day and it's driving me nuts.  Even after telling him to get rid of Mcafee because the problem is there not in the site.  Nope! He can't believe what I'm telling him.  Afterall, Mcafee is a big srong software company and can't be wrong, while I'm just a lowly little ole' dumbass.

It's not unheard of for sites on a server with poor security to get infected and cross-infect other sites, so I would look for any anomalous bits of HTML in there. I'll take a look if you can post a link.

(Not saying that's the cause though)

I had a look, couldn't see any issue, also I tried the free McAfee tool in Firefox and got no complaints.

Thanks for looking, but I didn't see anything either.  Years ago I did have a site that had been comprimised so did have some idea of what to look for.  Like you though, I had tried installing Mcafee, which I can't stand, and didn't see any errors.  Also I use firefox as a regular practice and the entire time he was saying he was experiencing the issue I was having none.  I've not spoken with him this morning, but it wouldn't surprise me to learn that it was no longer happening.
