Many content linked errors with Url change

Hello, i have kind of an odd problem with my site. I was forced to change the site url though instillation options under configuration to reflect a new dns. The problem is only the menu links updated to reflect this change, all database and images have retained the old url links. Is there a way to dynamically update these at this stage? All attachments are broken, and images missing.

Have you cleared all the caches (template, blocks, browser)?
