I can't seem to get links to open in new windows when I add them to the zone menu or in news. I select the option but it does not work?

I'm not sure what you mean about links in news though, could you explain please.

Thanks Chris!
…I uploaded that file overwriting my old one and it didn't work for me?

In news if I add a link using the WYSIWG editor and choose open in a new window from the drop down menu it doesn't work.

Hi,

Please try clearing the block cache.

The WYSIWYG editor issue seems to be a bug in the editor we use, I think only affecting Firefox. A workaround is to click on the link and click the anchor button again, and then re-select the link target.

@Chris: He set me as admin so I could fool around in there. Not getting why his "zone menu" option is not working when you tick the "open in new window" option… For his NEWS links, I told him a work-a-round to get his links to open in a new window if WYSIWYG isn't working right.

Is the .tpl file attached placed correctly, or is it being overridden by maybe a custom edit somewhere?

I just re uploaded it to the default theme overwriting the old file. Checked the theme I am using and it did have a custom tpl file…don't remember editing it lol I deleted it and then cleared caches using the upgrader. Still no luck on my custom theme or the default.

But I think I have a good guess why it's not working. I am using dropdown menus….sorry Chris, I didn't give you enough info  :$
