After upgrading to v6.0.1 I am getting the following javascript errors every where on my site, even if I revert to the default theme:
Once the pages are loaded, I get the following errors several times a second.

Note that in v5.0.3 I get many of the css errors, but not all.

The CSS 'errors' should be ignored, Firefox just doesn't support CSS3 fully yet (because CSS3 is not a finished standard yet).

I believe all the Javascript errors come from the super-shout addon, due to a bug in that addon if there are no shoutbox messages yet. You can fix it by posting in the general chat room or removing the addon.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

It looks it was actually caused when I uninstalled super-shout (found that it would be too distracting to users and open to abuse by troublemakers).

I didn't make the connections as I was doing other things in the admin zone after I uninstalled it, including running the integrity checker again.

I have uninstalled and re-installing chat but that does not fix the problem. I don't want to rely on the populated chat-room as the fix.

I just shouted a message, flushed all caches and the javascript error still occurs.

So that workaround does not seem to work.
