Hello I try to install Italian language, but now I have a lot of problem: no more template and all pages with errors. Any suggestion?

Regards

Hi,

What procedure did you use to install the language?

What errors are you seeing?

Thank you.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

I'm not sure how the IT language pack was distributed, but it looks like it wasn't done as a normal ocPortal addon.

Go through your ocPortal site using FTP, and whereever you see a directory named 'EN', also create a directory named 'IT' with the same permissions. For instance, you particularly need to have themes/default/templates_cached/IT and it needs to be writeable.
