It seems to be a bug in password reset form

Well-settled

Members report that password reset form emailed to them works by direct link only. Manual entering member ID and code does not work, tells "member is missing". I have looked into the page code and see that direct link contains "member" variable while form displays this:

<
input
maxlength
=
"255"
tabindex
=
"50"
onfocus
=
"update_ajax_member_list(this);"
onkeyup
=
"update_ajax_member_list(this);"
class
=
"input_username_required wide_field"
type
=
"text"
id
=
"username"
name
=
"username"
value
=
""
/>

I guess the issue is related to "username" variable used instead of "member". I could not find this particular template (just not familiar with them yet and there are lot of them :)), otherwise I'd try to fix it by myself.

Thanks in advance.

Might be a translation problem. It says "Username" in English, not "Member ID". Does seem to work too.
So you type e.g. 'admin' not e.g. '2'.

This said, it didn't work for me. This I think is because I have a lot of different sites running on here and there was an obscure bug in how a cookie login for one was conflicting with my test site, and then ocP failed to handle the error in it's AJAX code. I doubt you or anyone else is having this, but just in case a fix is attached.
