Is there a way to 'hide' description links on menus

Is there a way to 'hide' description links on menus (not the whole menu) to keep them from showing up to certain usergroups? I have a couple of experimental comcode pages where I test out various layouts , blocks and the like. I would prefer to keep them - but keep them for admin and staff use only and invisible to all other users. Is this possible? I know I can, and have, restricted usergroups from getting into the experimental pages but I also want them to disappear from the menu.

Personally, I find it frustrating to find a 'link' or icon that I click on - and am told that I do 'not have access to this page'. This makes me say …HEY, WHAT"S IN THERE? LET ME IN …click, click! I would rather not have the 'link' showing where it is calling to me "click-me, click-me".

Maybe I should move the pages somewhere else - I'm just not sure where? Maybe collaboration zone or admin zone, I see that these allow child pages. That may be easier if selective caption link masking is not available?

Well-settled

Hi,

In the menu editor there's an option for each link that you can turn on to make it check permissions. It works with zone and page permissions.

Thanks - that worked perfectly.
It was right under my nose but I had never taken notice of it until you pointed it out and it is such a simple solution.
