Well-settled

I have finally got around to using Google Analytics on my site, and the fact that the URL for the Wiki+ pages is something like "/pg/cedi/misc/221/index.php" is driving me nuts because when I look at the stats, I have no idea what pages are generating traffic without hitting the link.  I already had the URL Monikers function turned on, but from reading the description it doesn't seem to be actually changing the URL's.

Is there some way to having the Page Title as the URL for the Wiki+ pages?

Thanks

Hi,

I may be reviewing URL moniker support soon and I'll assess the feasibility of implementing this.

The paths in the code aren't the same as with the URL monikers. For Wiki+, the paths actually represent the navigation path used to access that page, as pages may have multiple navigation paths (Wiki+ is not a tree structure). This is why the implementation is separate.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
