I really want to try out the CMS

I really like the looks of ocportal and would like to test it out.  When I ran the installer I recieve this error:
Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in

/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/tjslideways.com/httpdocs/2007webs
ite/install.php(7469) : eval()'d code on line 489

Warning: Wrong parameter count for preg_match() in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/tjslideways.com/httpdocs/2007webs
ite/install.php(7469) : eval()'d code on line 488

It just continues to loop over and over again.  Any ideas?

Thanks,

TJ

Hi,

We've received this problem as a support ticket and have identified the problem as a PHP version incompatibility. We're working on a workaround which should be out very soon now.

Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Please check back tomorrow, for when we should have a new release out :). I'm sorry for the delay.
