The first only works for fixed width boxes (e.g. div's that have a non-100%/auto width). The second only works for non-boxes (inline stuff, like text and inline images). So unfortunately there's no universal way to center stuff, and thus the 'center' tag just works on text-alignment. If I answered something that you think should be in the documentation, please take the initiative and add it to the community documentation. We really need people to help out here and build a well-organised large support resource. |
