Have been receiving complaints of member not being able to view images, although myself and staff have had no issues, nor can I duplicate via another computer that has not been to the site.
I am stumped and have no idea whats happening. File in question has been replaced with one from the /.tar
from a user account:

Critical error - bailing out
This is an error that has been elevated to critical error status because it occurred during the primary error mechanism reporting system itself (possibly due to it occuring within the standard output framework). It may be masking a secondary error that occurred before this, but was never output - if so, it is likely strongly related to this one, thus fixing this will fix the other.
A language file for language EN is missing: tickets (lang/EN/tickets.ini or an overridden equivalent to this path) (version: 9.0.5, PHP version: 5.2.17, URL: /ocp2/data/attachment.php?id=3156&keep_session=1248961354)

Details here are intended only for the website/system-administrator, not for regular website users.
» If you are a regular website user, please let the website staff deal with this problem.

Depending on the error, and only if the website installation finished, you may need to edit the installation options (the info.php file).

ocProducts maintains full documentation for all procedures and tools. These may be found on the ocPortal website. If you are unable to easily solve this problem, we may be contacted from our website and can help resolve it for you.

I don't understand this sentence I'm afraid.

What file (the attachment, tickets.ini, or attachment.php?), and what tar, and what's "/"?

That said, I think I've found the problem:
Attachment
sources/hooks/systems/attachments/ocf_post.php
» Download: ocf_post.php (3 Kb, 106 downloads so far)

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Non-joined user

"/" = too big a hurry and botched it. :), meant zip file as well.
I replaced the uploads/auto_thumbs/ .htaccess and index.html files
I also replaced the lang/EN/tickets.ini
Waiting on feedback from users as I could never create the error.

On a totally unrelated note, I'm moving from T5s to LEDs in the next couple of months. They look great!

Confirmed. The bug existed in both v9.0.3 and v9.0.5 and uploading new ocf_post.php file fixed the issue.

now I wonder if my edits are enough, or if I need to change ocf_post.php as well.

I've been transistioning awhile, huge difference has been dropping 1 1000W fixture for 2 LED's on same system.
Heat and power consumption diminished dramatically, and the added savings in not replacing lamps @ 6 month intervals is a welcome change as well.

I uploaded ocf_post.php only (without any other changes) and guests are able to see attachments.
