one of the only real issues ive ever had with ocPortal is the text wrap of images in blog/news articles. I know it was hugely updated in v8, but im still struggling with it. The method i use is as follows, let me know if im getting something wrong;
Have i missed a step? Or this this a bug? Here is an example of a page that shows up perfect in the edit box, but fails on publishing. |

I'm going to have a shot at fixing this anyway, but my suggestion is to set that option off. Definitely disable "Convert HTML to Comcode". If I answered something that you think should be in the documentation, please take the initiative and add it to the community documentation. We really need people to help out here and build a well-organised large support resource. |

Have you tried using any of the vertical alignment options under the advanced tab in the attachment uploader? Bob |

I have disabled the "Convert HTML to Comcode" and have come across another problem. The alignment is sorted i think. However, the image now randomly disappears completly on publishing. When i open the edit box, the image is still there. To get it back i have to delete the image in the edit box and attach it again. I cant quite work out under what circumstances it vanishes, will let you know if i can identify any trend. Bob, thanks for the suggestion. Is that the option under 'Advanced'? I took a look at that but couldnt quite work out the difference between the options so will do some experimenting |

Yes, in the attachments overlay under the "Advanced" section which is shown hidden, there is an option for vertical alignment with four different options to choose from. I've not used it yet but made amental note about it as I will be going back to "illustrate" some of my articles. Bob |
