How to accept SSL connections for specific features only

Hello all,

I would like to have all sections of my site that deal with user information and payment transactions served through ssl while the non-critical data is served normally.

Is this possible, or should I just redirect non-ssl to a complete ssl install? (I would prefer splitting between http and https)

Thanks for your input!

You need bundled 'ssl' installed, if not already. Then will be on the security menu in the Admin Zone. You need to turn on SSL first in the config, but it'll tell you this if it isn't on.

Thanks Chris,

This last search turned up the tutorial regarding the ssl options. This is what I was looking for.

On another note, I am really pleased with my decision to use ocPortal for my sites. After my learning curve flattens out a little, I'll definitely be recommending this to clients.

Thanks again.

Not sure if this is related, now the following error occurs (only after I enabled the ssl option). I cannot get back to disable ssl.

PHP WARNING [2] array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, boolean given in sources/site.php on line 702 (version: 7.1.5, PHP version: 5.3.5-1ubuntu7.3, URL: /ocportal/)

I also reported this in the bug tracker. Please delete it if it does not belong there.
