Try something like this …

Code

[semihtml]
<div class='standardbox_wrap_panel' style="border-top-width: 0px"><div class='standardbox_classic standardbox_t_panel' style="width: 100%; height: auto">
<h4 class='standardbox_title_panel' style="border-top: 0px solid #8AA3C7">Counter</h4><div class='standardbox_main_classic associated_details'><br />

<div><a href="... put your offsite or widget code here ..."></a></div>

</div></div></div>
[/semihtml]

Note: The class associated_details might be unnecessary, as all it does for me is to reduce the size of the text for links in a panel I have on my site.

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

I am getting beaten by my text editor which refuses to display some of the characters in your script.

What language code are you using?

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

Lithuanian language

There are no problem with coding ! That it is only for you.

How to add counter?
What ways are to do?
How to create block for counter?
Do I need to do comcode page?
If add block, I get that I am missing hit file
If I create comcode page I get on codes (what you see in text editor) but not counter.

I am new with ocportal and help material is unclear very much.

Hi Beata! Can you point me to where you got that counter code please and thanks? I tried to add it to my site here for testing for you but I'm getting no output at all; no errors either, just no output. All the other javascript on my test page is loading fine.

Perhaps SD will have a bit more success, but after much fiddling with the code provided by "Hey.lt", this is about all I can come up with …

It is a mixture of bits I copied off 'Hey.lt' and the bits I use to get something to display in a custom box on an ocPortal side panel.

I am having a problem posting the code here in the ocPortal forum, so if you want it, to pick out the relevant bits, I will have to find another way to get it to you!

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

Do you mean that it's going up too fast? I don't understand the question I'm afraid.

I want to add external counter with more functions, graphics and so on

Is it possible and how to do it?

This counter show my hits, because I know that this new website isn't visited by somebody yet.
Today 03436 and I want to see not my hits but visitors and also
unique visitors
and
  • Track daily traffic statistics.
  • Track monthly traffic statistics.
  • Track yearly traffic statistics.
  • Track your web site visitors:
    • Track referring pages.
    • Track entry pages.
    • Track IP addresses, countries, networks, etc.

If Usage > Site statistics doesn't contain enough information, then maybe you need to look at something like:

AWStats - Free log file analyzer for advanced statistics (GNU GPL).
