Hi there, new to this forum.I have started to translate the language files to Romanian. My question is : where do I set the default language to Romanian (RO) ?I browsed through the entire admin menus and couldn't find the proper place to do that.I don't want the users to change the language themselves, I only want Romanian.Thank you.

Hi,

Go to the Admin Zone, Setup section, Installation Options icon. The default language is specified in here, as it's defined in the info.php file that this edits.

Gotcha.

Thanks a lot.

I have another question though, let's say I don't want the "downloads" to appear in the left menu under the "Content" block. During installation, I have left unchecked the box for downloads usage.

What is the way to get rid of it ?

An hour ago I got to a page where I could "delete" it (doesn't come to my mind now) … but I was thinking there's another way just to "disable" it in case I need it in the future.

Thanks

Do you just want to delete the link in the content menu?

If so you should see a link that says edit menu in that menu, on the edit screen you can delete the downloads link.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

Yes, THAT was the place where I was before.
Ok, gotcha.
My doubt is that if I decide to activate it again, should I go in the same place and "add" another menu item that I should call "Downloads" ?
I guess it is mandatory to be called "Downloads", right ? Otherwise the script won't recognize it. Or ?

Thanks

Yeah just add a new menu item :). The caption can be whatever you like- you choose the link in the menu editor, and that makes it 'recognised'.

Have a play around in the menu editor to get used to it.

Yep I only use one menu for all my site links its just easier for me to do it that way.
