I want to exclude the Admin, Collaboration, and Content Management zones from the Site map but can't seem to find a way.  Is this possible, other than manually gathering a list of every single page referenced in those zone and inputting them into the exclude field?

And out of curiousity, does this same function work for the site map text file that is read by Google?

Thanks

I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.

How about the "ocp_sitemap.xml"?  That seems to show every page on the site, including a bunch I don't use.  And some (like the admin pages) that I don't think should be in a site map for search engine purposes.

Thanks

It's certainly not supposed to – that is supposed to run as Guest. It really contains links into the Admin Zone? If so, urgently check you haven't given guests access to the Admin Zone zone.

Unused pages probably belong to addons you're not using – you should uninstall those.

Sorry, not admin zone.  I saw the administrators group page as I was scanning through.  Along with  some other pages I don't use and am not sure how to access, like "Awards", "Banners" and a few others like that.

Thanks

Ah, okay. You can deny guest permissions to particular pages you don't want crawled if you like.

OK, I couldn't seem to find a way to remove access to pages like "Awards" in either the permissions or on the page, but I modified the ones I could find.

Any idea why Google would be returning a "General HTTP error: HTTP 403 error (Forbidden)" error when I can access the file directly with generic browser session?

Thanks
