I've used the HIDE tag in some pages. I've noticed that the code takes the icons expand.png and contract.png from the default theme, and not from the theme used in the page.
I don't know if this is a bug or a choiche.
I've easily modified the code, but I just want to report this issue.

Its picking up those icons from my custom theme OK.

Do you have a Samsung Galaxy S / Galaxy S II ? If so, why not check out my ScreenFree FM Radio .

Works for me too. The buttons are referenced in COMCODE_HIDE.tpl in Tempcode, and the Comcode parser should keep everything in Tempcode, so it is only evaluated to an actual image URL when everything is output.

I think there are some Comcode tags where the Tempcode contents is evaluated during parsing (I think the bbcode-style list notation might do that, although I thought we fixed it), so perhaps you have your hide tag nested inside another tag where that happens and previewing it in the default theme forces it to save like that.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
