I am trying to use the "Tabs" comcode to make the front page of my site more useful.  However, the contents of the 2 tab are being shown at the bottom of the first tab and the top of the third tab, and I can't figure out why.  Can anyone point out what I am doing wrong?

Here is a screen shot of the first tab view, you can see the "Certification" an other links at the bottom, but those should only be on the 2nd tab.

Here is the page code:

<div class="inner">
<h1 class="screen_title">
<span class="inner">Welcome to {$SITE_NAME*}</span></h1>
This site is a non-commercial reference site for Business Analysts. &nbsp;It includes a wiki, discussion forums, links library, and other resources. &nbsp;Please click the &quot;About&quot; link in the top menu to find out about this web site, and the site owner. &nbsp;Otherwise, feel free to look around. &nbsp;You do not need to register to view any of the wiki or forum content, but you will need to register if you want to add any content.<br />
<br />
[tabs=&quot;Site News,Best Wiki Pages,Recent Links&quot;][tab=&quot;Site News&quot; default=&quot;1&quot;][/tab]<br />
[tab=&quot;Best Wiki Pages&quot;]These are example wiki pages with the most or best content. &nbsp;Not all pages are like this yet, but these represent examples of what I hope to achieve for the site. &nbsp;They are also probably the most useful pages for visitors.</div>
<br />
[[Certification]]<br />
[[Context Diagrams]]<br />
[[Presentations]]<br />
[[Requirements]]<br />
[[Waterfall]] - not quite complete, but still worth reading<br />
[/tab]<br />
[tab=&quot;Recent Links&quot;][/tab]<br />
[/tabs]<br />

Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks!

I can see right away you have &#8203;[tab=&quot;Best Wiki Pages&quot;]...</div>. That </div> will be interfering with the Comcode's own HTML, closing off the tab at that point. Best to do this by hand with the WYSIWYG off.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
