Having issues getting thumbnails generated for images in the photo gallery

Ocportal 8.1 - need some help on getting thumbnails generated" sorry, the image is too large in terms of height and width for us to generate the thumbnail on the server. We can handle an image of size 2016x2016 pixels" Question: I have used other content management system on the same server and was able to upload much larger pictures and now with OCportal I am getting this error. Is this a setting I can change to allow it to generate thumbnails? |

You can try going to Admin Zone > Tools > OcCLE, and typing something like this: Code
:set_value('real_memory_available_mb','100');
This will trick ocPortal into thinking it has more memory to work with than it has, effectively disabling the "safety" it leaves around when it calculates maximum tolerable image sizes. If I answered something that you think should be in the documentation, please take the initiative and add it to the community documentation. We really need people to help out here and build a well-organised large support resource. |
