Hi everyone,

Just created this guide for my guest bloggers, thought i would share it with you! Still got some work to do on it, i tapped it out in a couple of hours while pretty sleep deprived!

Good one, Ollie.

Make a note to update this post and let us know if your guest bloggers' offerings were any easier to validate, and whether the feedback you get is a 'positive'.

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

Ollie-

Thanks for this. I think I may use this although I have had some difficulty in hetting thepeople who said they would write and share about Julian to actually do so.

I found what appear to be a few mistakes, listed below.

Become a member, last paragraph. I think it is supposed to be 'to':
i will need you set up your guest blogger permissions

What happen next, first sentence. Wont s/b won't:
The blog post wont appear immediately

What happens next, last paragraph. Not sure what this bit is about.:
Mac: ctrl+shift
PC: If anyone can work this out for me i'd appreciate it!

There are also several instances of the "i" instead of uppercase "I".

Thanks for your feedback guys, feel free to make use of it any way you want :)

Fletch; have had good feedback so far from my guest bloggers. Last year i had 8 guest bloggers over a 10 day period to celebrate the first anniversary of my blog. They sent me the articles via email, and i uploaded them. Didnt mind it so much, but i think they enjoy it more if they can format it themselves.

Bob; I will make those corrections, thanks for pointing them out :). Its taken me a year to get people interested in guest blogging, i plan to write an article on it in the next couple of weeks and will send it your way. In fact, i might bash it out now while its in my head.

Re the last two points you make. Lower case i's are my embarrassing trade mark. I've had to even put a little explanation on my 'About/History' page, check it out for a giggle. The last point was a reminder to me that went astray. Its a reminder for me to find out how PC users can do a right click inside an ocP text box. I use a mac and do Ctrl+Shift+Click...no idea what the PC version is tho. Any idea?

I use a Mac also but I suspect one of our seasoned PC users will know the answer to that.

When using the WYSIWYG editor, the Ctrl-RightClick will get you the 'standard' menu with the spell checker. If you are not using the WYSIWYG editor, RightClick alone will do the trick.
