This is do to the comment settings with in our configuration settings.
Go into your admin zone then setup and then configure and then click on the bottom option.
At the bottom you will see comments.
Make sure it says klajoklis.lt and nothing else.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

Or, create a forum to contain comments, and make sure the setting Ami talked about specifies this forum's name. :)

O_o But I dont see "comments" there.

Anyway, what does this mean? That any comment to the picture in a gallery will go the Forum?

Yes thats how the system works.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

And this means that comments from the news and the gallery will go into the same forum?

ya I would love to have them go to different forums.
This is another reason I have more then one install of ocPortal.

And IOTD's, and there may be more.

Initially I was not convinced of the functionality of this feature as I had never come across it before, BUT, after using it for a while I think it is indispensable for an Admin.

You don't have to trawl your whole site to look for comments - it is all duplicated in the Forum, and if you wish you only have to click on the marker post to take you to the subject being commented on. That makes administering unwanted comments, and other unacceptable things, a breeze!

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

I do agree I like the comments being on the forum but I would like the Catalogue and gallery to go to a different forum.

I guess it is all a matter of personal preference, Amy.

I suspect, like me, you don't ignore any comments, so wanting them segregated into separate foums must count as a 'cosmetic' thing. Personally, I am happy to open only one Forum and deal with ALL the comments in the one place!

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

Ah I find it easier to have them go to different forums so members find and can read them better and so I can find and read them better.
As I mentioned before I have 3 installs of OCportal to be able to do this.
There are other reasons why I have 3 installs but thats the main one.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

One of the mean reasons i like it seperated is so the forum looks nicer.
All the Gallery and image stuff is in one spot and all the Anime stuff is in one spot and all the jokes are in one spot and that includes the comments for each of those.
