Giving points sets your points to negative?

But my points shows: Gift-points available: -39,974 I'm confused why the number is negative. If I am sending points (to myself the admin in this case) wouldn't the number increment? Or is this a special case for the admins? |

It is kept seperate so that you wouldn't loose your member points just because you felt like rewarding another member with points. The gift points that you give to the other member (you in this case) are given to them as actual member points, but from your gift point pool. Tune in next week as we address quantum phyics and space-time paradoxes.

Normally, yes to both. In a previous post Chris instructed me on how to give individual members permissions using the points store. I tested it out about a month ago by giving a trusted individual normal member, who has a unique role on the forum, the ability to have unlimited gift points to give out. (I can say it works very well. Thanks, Chris!  )
