If I cant get help here, where else do you want me to?
I posted about" How can I hide a text or URL for guest, in my forum( they will only see the URL/Link when they sign in)" but I have to received any good response. I know how to do this in SMF Forum, is it not possible in OCP?

I ll be glad if anyone can come up with better option to do this.

Thanks.

I don't believe you can do exactly what you want in an automatic way with the ocForum without altering the php code in some significant ways. However, if you are the admin of the web site and you want to hide text or links from guests and display a Join or Login link instead in the forum posts that you or other admins make, you could wrap your text or links in some tempcode like this:

Code

Hello, here is a link that you should really check out:
{+START,IF,{$NEQ,{$IS_GUEST},0}}
You must join and be logged in to see the link! (place link to your signup and login pages somewhere in here)
{+END}
{+START,IF,{$EQ,{$IS_GUEST},0}}
Here is a link to [url="http://www.google.com"]Google[/url] and maybe some other text you want to hide from guests.
{+END}

Between the first set of +START and +END tempcode lines is where you will put the content you want to display to guests. Between the last set of +START and +END taga is where you will put the conent you want logged in members to see. You'll need the proper permissions for comcode to be setup for this to work if you are not an administrator. You may even be able to create a custom comcode tag (Admin Zone->Setup->Custom Comcode) using code similar to what I posted above to make it a bit simpler to use.
