Hi there,

I'm evaluating your product as it seems to have the total package for what I need, built-in gallery, built-in forum in particular.  However, I keep running into different issues with the gallery in particular.  Here they are:

1) I created a sub gallery under root called models, at the time I didn't enter a teaser description.  I went to edit gallery to do this after the fact and I keep getting the error message "You cannot make a category its own ancester" (SIC)

2) The reason I wanted to add a teaser description is that I wanted to add a teaser block to the main page and I kept getting
"a tag is empty" error which I assumed meant I needed a teaser description to be entered there

3) So back to the gallery, I created a sub gallery models (a gave it a rep-image) and then another under that which has a rep image as well as well as another image inside the gallery.  The start page that shows up on the main page as a gallery-embed block, but nothing shows up there.  (I figure that this is my issue of understanding how galleries are shown)

4) On a slightly different note, I'm also not able to access the hosted cms or your demo from home, although I can view it from work, is there a firewall setting that I need to look out for or something?

Any help you give is most appreciated as I try to determine if this cms matches my needs.

Thanks,

Anthony
(Oh I'm hosted on your servers if you need to see the page)

Crikey, this is a nasty bug - fixed.

"a tag is empty" error

I assume an XHTML error when previewing your Comcode page with validation enabled. The teaser should be optional so I've fixed the templates to not try and assign space for an empty one.

Yes. That block doesn't handle subgalleries, only the direct contents of a gallery.

We've recently changed servers and it may well be that your ISP is cacheing the old settings. Do you mind if I ask what ISP it is? If you type 'nslookup ocportal.info' on a Windows command line, and send me what it says that'd definitely help in a big way.

I've just been through our automated bug reports and found a few more from your site. These bugs are now also fixed.

Please also keep reporting any problems you have though.

Here is what I receive when I do nslookup ocportal.info

Server:  dns.wlfdle.rnc.net.cable.rogers.com
Address:  24.153.22.67

DNS request timed out.
    timeout was 2 seconds.

And that kind of makes sense as when I enter the address it just sits there waiting for a response.

Thank you by the way for your assistance, I'm very impressed with your product and I'm going to keep with evaluation over the next couple of days and let you know how it goes.

Anthony
