A few Galleries are not showing up.
I have an avatar Gallery I was uploading images into a sub Gallery under it and it was not showing up under root so I deleted it which put the sub Galleries in the root and were viewable.
I recreated the avatar gallery and it showed up, moved all the sub galleries back into it and they are showing up now.
How ever I have several other Galleries that are not showing up and to delete those and recreate those would me doing the images.

Another problems the clean up tool for cleaning up orphaned images is not working.
I run it it says it was complete but all the files are still there.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

A few other things as well as suggestions.
It would be nice if it had a check all or check box on the clean up screen for orphaned uploads as I did read after that you have to do it manually.  A check all in the Gallery upload where it has the orphaned uploads would be nice too.

Any way another problem I just ran into is images where the meta is showing no info will not upload. Took me for ever to find the Gif file it was saying would not open and the only problem I found with it was the meta or demotions said 0 for both hight and width.
I then opened it in Gimp and saved it and that fixed it.
How ever this happened several times when uploading zip files and I ended up with about 5 of a few images.

well I ended up resetting all the Galleries.
I basically redid them all and they are all showing up now.
That took a few hours as my host limited the upload to 8mb  O_o

Hi,

I think your problem may have been related to this bug:
ocPortal - Entry: Subgalleries may go missing, for a flow-mode gallery

Any way another problem I just ran into is images where the meta is showing no info will not upload. Took me for ever to find the Gif file it was saying would not open and the only problem I found with it was the meta or demotions said 0 for both hight and width.
I then opened it in Gimp and saved it and that fixed it.

I wonder if this is related to the animated gif problem we got fixed in later versions of GD. I'm not sure any other type of gif file could have a zero width or height.

Thank you for your suggestion about select-all.

Non-joined user

I was not using the flow at the time I changed the to flow when I remade them.
here is a link to an image that has 0 width and width and IPB excepts it as an image as it was uploaded as an avatar.
I was adding it to the avatars under ocPortal but ya I got the error I mentioned above.

(Sorry I accidentally missed this one yesterday)
This tool isn't designed to delete anything, only list the files it sees that it thinks shouldn't be there.

I was not using the flow at the time I changed the to flow when I remade them.

I'm not sure what could cause this for a non flow-mode gallery, but if it happens again if you let me know before it is repaired I'd be more than happy to investigate the cause for you.

I was adding it to the avatars under ocPortal but ya I got the error I mentioned above.

This file doesn't seem to be on your server anymore.

ya cuz I changed servers and it got lost. Not my hosts fault but mine when I changed names. I did a server change and a name change at the same time.
If it would let me upload it here I would but it will not.

I attempted to upload it here and got this error.

Code

The following file format was not understood: gif
That is what I got on my own site when uploading it.
Here is the link to it on my new server.

Hi,

This is actually a renamed BMP file.
ocPortal is probably trying to read it (to check the dimensions, possibly), but GD cannot read BMP files.

oh, well I saved them as a gif in gimp and that fixed it.
I am not sure where I found that file or if a friend gave it to me.
More likely then not it was one from a friend.

Thanks by the way.
