sitemap is not being generated as expected.

Hi everyone,

I installed ocPortal for the first time about a week ago and I am feeling my way through, so apologies in advance if this turns out to be a dumb question.

Say I want to remove all access and references to Calendar related pages for guests, what's the best way to find all references?

I removed all calendar blocks (the Block construction assistant does not show any calendar blocks in use) and I removed all guest permissions from Security > Choose >  Specific-permissions: Calendar, but there is still a calendar link on the sitemap.

What am I missing?

Also at this stage I intend to do the same for CEDI references.

You could either uninstall the calendar addon or use the permission tree editor to remove access to the calendar page.

Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Thanks Chris, changing permissions did the trick . I don't want to uninstall the calendar as I might use it later.

I was expecting it to be something this simple. Looks like I just have to get used to where everything is.
