1. I have the downloads block full width on the main page, is there a way I can split that into 2 columns? I do NOT want the 50% thingy.

2. On the downloads, in the categories, how many can you have before there is a next page? If I can set that, were? Also what directory are the main page blocks (the php files) in on the server?

3. For now, I wish to turn off the CEDI How can I shut that off temporarily until I decide to mess with it?

4. I can't figure out for the life of me on how to add a support ticket on my site? Is there a way to make a link so people can just click on it?

I may just rip down Wordpress and bring OCportal to the root of my site as I just use wordpress to whine and cry anyways.

Hopefully these questions are easier than the last few and won't muss up anyone X-Mas!

Two first questions, haven't got a clue.

For CEDI, guess you could either uninstall it using the add-on install/remove function, or just limit access to the zone from the zone editor.

Support tickets, piece of cake. From one of the managed menus you can add an entry and the available entry points on the right will offer the choice between entry point of the support ticket module or direct link to one of the ticket categories. (Don't kick the dogs).
If you use your own menus, you'll want to link to "site:tickets:type=misc".

Have a nice xmas ;)

I think I am playing to much. I just removed the cedi block from the zone editor. I'll put it back in when ready.

Thanks for the "Support ticket" I would never had figure that one out!

Out besides these two……..

I figured out how to split my news and Member blogs on the main page. The problem i snow I have two blocks that say "News". I have tinkered with the param setting but can't change the "News" to "Blog"s.

Or would it be easier to have it setup to where if someone writes a blog, instead of News, have it come up with the category name or the name of the member blog?
'title="Member Blogs" '
Think I will take a break as I am missing the simple stuff!
* Edited post as one question was resolved.

I have the downloads block full width on the main page, is there a way I can split that into 2 columns? I do NOT want the 50% thingy.

Is the 50% thing the default bit of HTML code in there? If so, this is probably the best way to do it. For interest, what's wrong with this particular code?
Another way is to use HTML tables, something like:

Code

<table class="wide_table">
<colgroup>
<col width="50%" />
<col width="50%" />
</colgroup>
<tr>
<td>
...
</td>
<td>
...
</td>
</tr>
</table>
(some people would not like this code, which is why we use the 50% div CSS stuff by default)

On the downloads, in the categories, how many can you have before there is a next page? If I can set that, were?

You can link through with &max=123 in the URL (for example).

Also what directory are the main page blocks (the php files) in on the server?

sources/blocks

or just limit access to the zone from the zone editor.

Since v3 it's been all under one module in the site zone. So the concept is similar, but you'd remove access to the 'cedi' page rather than a whole zone.
