Is there a way to show 24 hour time format instead of 12 hours with pm/am

Yes. Go to the Admin Zone, then the 'Style' section, then 'Language', then choose to translate the 'global' language file (probably it's easiest for you to choose English, unless you want to make a redistributable language pack).
Near the top are some codes for how time is displayed. Basically change h to H in those codes.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Ah yes, sorry I forgot we now use this format.

Change %I to %H.

See PHP: strftime - Manual for more info.

You know what I think it might be neat if this could be changed via users. So each user / member is able to set it by them selves.
Its not that big a deal just an idea as I know some like the 12 setting and some do not.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.
